LiLo's portrayal of Liz Taylor branded 'unbearably hilarious'
Critics have panned Lindsay Lohan's performance in Liz 'n' Dick, a Lifetime TV production about Elizabeth Taylor.
No one has been more vocal than The Hollywood Reporter critic Tim Goodman, who's scathing review has created a great deal of buzz around the featurette, albeit for all the wrong reasons, the Metro reported.
The writer described Lohan's turn as the legendary actress as "unbearably hilarious" and an "instant classic of unintentional hilarity".
"Lohan as Taylor was a bad idea in the dramatic sense, but it's pure genius both for marketing and for belly laughs and drinking games," he wrote.
"And the best part is that it gets worse as it goes on... By the time Lohan is playing mid-80s Taylor and it looks like a lost Saturday Night Live skit, your body may be cramped by convulsions.

Lindsay Lohan interview triggers snit between ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘Today’
The competition between “Good Morning America” and “Today” is
getting down and dirty — and it was sparked by professional
troublemaker Lindsay Lohan.
The battle between the morning shows is turning from a friendly
ratings war into an all-out catfight, with “GMA” lobbing nasty
accusations at “Today.”
It happened after Lohan visited “GMA” Friday to promote her new
Lifetime movie, “Liz & Dick.” After a mostly boring interview by Amy Robach
with only one tough question, “GMA” producers were accused of bowing to
a list of preapproved softball questions put forward by Lohan’s new
reps at Rogers & Cowan, who were hired to clean up her tarnished
image.

What storm? Life goes on as normal for Lindsay Lohan as she enjoys posh New York lunch
She infamously tweeted that people should not be worried about Storm Sandy.
And Lindsay Lohan certainly did not appeared too troubled by its aftermath as she enjoyed a posh meal in New York on Saturday.
The 26-year-old looked in a jolly mood after indulging herself at the upmarket Sant Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village.
The Mean Girls actress certainly did not look like she has been enduring any hardship.
In fact she looked surprisingly stylish in a long grey woollen jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
The
fact she has not been suffering was underlined by musings by her chat
show host chum Jimmy Fallow, who revealed she mocked him for dining
alone at fancy restaurant Tao, before insisting they share a cozy
candlelit dinner together.
Jimmy even said that when they first met, the fun-loving actress was 'totally sobes.'Friday, August 3, 2007
